As a General Carpenter, you will be responsible for various carpentry tasks involved in construction projects undertaken by VPAC Construction. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using hand and power tools. Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and molding. Collaborating with other team members, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure project completion within deadlines. Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry work. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to carpentry work.
