Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
• Course load to include: Biology 20/30
• Chemistry 20/30
• Physics 20/30
• Science 10/20/30
• Courseload is flexible dependent on the successful candidates skills and qualifications
• Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in relevant courses, as mentioned above, would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in an active, team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
• Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment
• Passionate about teaching and ensuring belief in every student
• Ability to effectively integrate technology and a n understanding of 21st Century Learning Skills
• Assessment literate
• Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Effective classroom management
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
