How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Pick up and delivery driver with TGM for local hospitals and relief driving as required

P&D Driver:

  • Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, deliver and pick up cylinders as required, then offload the truck upon return and sort empty cylinders.

  • Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.

  • Loading and unloading of cylinders may be completed with a forklift – training and certification will be provided

  • Issues accurate delivery notes and receipts for all products supplied and returned from customers to assure correct invoicing.

  • Maintains accurate truck records, including PANDA, TDG and WHMIS documentation, highway log.

  • You will be using a handheld scanner to get delivery notes, TDG forms and highway logs.

  • You are responsible for the truck and daily activities.

  • This position will also be the backup for other driver routes during vacation periods.

  • Overnight stays during the routes will be required.

Total Gas Management (TGM):

  • Maintains cylinder gas inventory levels at selected health care facilities, by placing and processing orders for additional products in the oracle system or be-connected.

  • Completes all required monthly billing summaries and other ad hoc reports.

  • Monitors and manages cylinder gas inventory. Ensures the separation of empties from fulls and ensures the stock is being rotated. Performs scheduled rounds to maintain inventory levels at all locations within the facility.

  • Pickups and returns empty cylinders to storage area(s) to insure return to production facility. Monitors and receives cylinder gas deliveries to insure accurate delivery documentation.

  • Changes out gas cylinders at the manifolds at the service sites.

  • Complies with all applicable Air Liquide Standards and regulatory guidelines. Complies with all applicable facility guidelines and procedures. Completes assigned tasks as per existing procedure. Makes initial evaluations and obtains proper assistance when confronted with problem situations. Responds to emergency situations to ensure uninterrupted supply of product.

  • Conducts cylinder audits at specified intervals. Provides inventory usage reports to the hospital. Participates with the local accounts payable department to ensure accurate billing and timely payment.

  • Accountable for the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities. Safety is a condition of continued employment. Actively participates with the local safety department to insure hospital personnel proper handling and storing of medical gas products. Completes the "Monthly Safety and Near Miss Report".

  • You may be required to perform the role of quality control designate or alternate and complete tasks related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the handling of medical gasses, such as the review and sign off of quality records. All necessary training for this role is referenced in Quality Designate Training Matrix, HRM-0003, and must be completed prior to performing the activities.

  • The main duties are listed above, but additional duties may be assigned based on operational requirements.

Unrestricted class 3 with air brakes driver's license with clean 3 year drivers abstract is
required.
● Minimum of 3 years' driving (class 3) experience required.
● Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs
● Collaborative communication style
● Commitment to safe work practices
● Transportation of Dangerous Goods (strong asset).
● Forklift experience would be an asset
● Knowledge of record keeping and documentation.
