WHO IS THE DELIVERY CLERK?
Delivery Clerk is an individual with a keen ability to de-escalate customer concerns. They are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while accurately entering customer information and coordinating customer pick-ups. Delivery Clerks are responsible for using various complex internal software systems to complete data entry in an extremely fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOMPLISHING IN THE ROLE
- Delivering friendly, courteous and exceptional personalized customer service both in person and over the phone
- Coordinating all customer pick-ups in an efficient manner
- Updating reports to be used by Tepperman's staff
- Using routing software and other computer applications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail is a must
- Effective interpersonal skills to effectively deal with both internal and external stakeholders
- Availability to work a full-time retail rotation schedule which includes daytime, evening and weekend shifts as well as peak periods such as March Anniversary and Boxing Week
