Our Public Sector client is seeking a full-time, permanent HR Director, Supply Chain to join their growing team! This is a hybrid opportunity (3x/week) in Downtown Toronto.
This role leads HR's partnership with Supply Chain & Wholesale, leads a team of Business Partners, and is considered a key contributor to the following areas: workforce planning, talent management, change management, organizational design, and labour/employee relations.

Responsibilities:
Workforce Planning:
- Utilizes data to forecast talent needs.
- Collaborates on organization-wide planning strategy.
- Drives innovation and optimization.
Organizational Design:
- Recommends and supports design solutions.
- Aligns with workforce plans and business needs.
- Develops OD strategies to promote culture shift and client performance.
Talent Management:
- Implements talent programs and succession planning.
- Guides engagement and talent calibration.
- Cultivates a culture of continuous improvement.
Change Management:
- Cultivates a growth mindset for change readiness.
- Advises on change strategies and promotes HR Operating Model.
Labour & Employee Relations:
- Provides advice aligned with legislative obligations.
- Drives outcomes while fostering constructive labour relations.
- People Leadership:
- Inspires high performance through clear direction and objectives.
- Embraces continuous improvement and fosters open communication.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a unionized environment is mandatory.
- Education in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive and relevant HR experience within a Supply Chain & Wholesale environment.
