Reporting to the Lawyers, the Senior Law Clerk is responsible for a variety of activities, including all the closing documents for residential and commercial condo units and suites. This entails file reviews, cross referencing of data for accuracy and ensuring all timelines are adhered to for all parties involved. Set up projects – organizing all individual files and ensuring things are in place for successful closing Create spreadsheet with all pertinent data Input all upgrades for the units into the system (Lawyer Done Deal) Receive information from clients – budget, lawyers' info – and enter into the database Assist with other condo/subdivision projects by assigned team as needed Communication with law firms to finalize details Participate in occupancy closings (medium and junior levels already doing) Responsible for managing all files and ensuring properly stored once project completed Legal Assistant/Law Clerk diploma program considered an asset ~ Previous experience with Lawyer Done Deal (technology platform) is a strong asset ~ Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PC LAW, Teraview, and Windows applications ~ Able to communicate effectively to all levels of internal and external contacts, both verbally and in writing ~ Able to communicate effectively to all levels of internal and external contacts, both verbally and in writing ~ TDS Personnel is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
