Big Rock is adding to our Maintenance team and is seeking a highly motivated and talented Journeyman Electrician professional!In this role you will be responsible for the design, installation, troubleshooting and repair of all industrial equipment associated with electrical and electronic systems. Other responsibilities include installation and commission of fire, security, lighting, and energy management control systems. Additionally, this role will support their maintenance teammates to troubleshoot and repair equipment throughout the brewery and support corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment Be part of an effective work planning process that utilizes work orders, planners, and part stagingThis position requires flexibility to work shifts and may requirement periodic based on business need in peak season. Develop and improve electrical preventative maintenance activities with a focus on safe work practice and quality workmanship Willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons and midnights), overtime, weekends, and holidays. Shift premiums will apply Proven mechanical and troubleshooting skills Welding experience an asset Must follow and abide by all Provincial electrical codes Assist maintenance team with mechanical and technical support as needed Ensure proper inventory quantities of electrical supplies and parts Make quick decision when emergencies occur to call for assistance or support Ensure good housekeeping in the maintenance shop at all times Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician Valid Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license or Industrial Electrician license Experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment an asset Proficiency with English Language.
