Job Description Posted Friday, April 19, 2024 at 4:00 AM As a French lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching the French language, analysing French-language literature and developing students' written and oral expression skills. Your role is to inspire a deep understanding of the language. Status : Contract – Fall session 2024 Location: Lasalle College, Montreal (Quebec) and online Plan class sessions; Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner; Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach; Administer and correct assessments; Monitor each student and encourage success; Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course; All other related tasks. REQUIREMENTS You must be legally entitled to work in Canada; Hold a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Education or be enrolled in this program in order to obtain a tolerance of commitment to teach; Hold a university degree with an option or concentration in the relevant discipline; Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years; Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least five (5) years.
