To support us on our journey, Sinai Health System is looking for a Registered Nurse to support Medical Imaging – Angiography.

  • Administration of various medication to patients undergoing interventional procedures i.e. conscious sedation
  • Assist physicians with procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures and monitor before, during and after

Job Requirements

  • Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Completion of BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
  • BScN (preferred)
  • Current nursing experience in Angiography/Interventional Radiology (preferred)
  • Current nursing experience in an Acute Care setting (an asset)
  • Proficiency in venipuncture
  • Sound knowledge base and demonstrated skills in physical assessment and sterile technique
  • Basic ECG interpretation
  • Ability to wear a 20 lbs protective lead apron for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under stressful conditions
  • Effective time management skills, ability to organize and set priorities
  • Possesses excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Commitment to shared leadership and team based decision making
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively as a team member
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
