Senior Network Administrator We're looking for a solution-driven Senior Network Administrator to join our Technology Services team within our Winnipeg Head Office located at 140 Otter Street. As a Senior Network Administrator with us, you will be responsible for Pollard's network infrastructure for all aspects of Pollard's Technology footprint. IT Security to ensure best practice security architects are deployed with the IT infrastructure, Global Manager, Infrastructure for directional and technical guidance, The NOC for aligning monitoring and technical response for incidents and changes required. Company pension On-Site Cafeteria & Outdoor Patio On-Site Gym Provide troubleshooting of the network, both on-prem and cloud, as needed for multiple platforms including: - Layer 2 switching and spanning tree technologies - Applications and services running over networks ~ Provide Network analysis and planning - Discovering and documenting network topologies - Capacity planning - Planning in-place hardware software upgrades - Risk mitigation and evaluating operational impact of network implementations ~ Provide Migration planning and implementation - Migration planning in including risk mitigation and implementation impact - Pre migration network stabilization - Migration implementation and backout - Post migration network cleanup ~ Highly organized individual adept at managing multiple issues/projects simultaneously. Capable of applying professional negotiating techniques with internal and external stakeholders to determine optimal solutions and provide process explanations. Proficient in gathering technical requirements from various departments to develop programs that meet the business needs. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent education ~5+ years of experience with Palo Alto networks. ~10+ years of experience in networking and infrastructure. ~ Proficient with change control & trouble shooting tools. ~ Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the business and foster team building environment.
