Applications are invited for sessional nursing instructors with clinical experience in all areas of practice to teach in clinical settings with opportunities starting January 2024 and beyond. You will have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing or psychiatric nursing (graduate course work or degree is preferred), and unencumbered active licensure with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), and/or the College and Association of Psychiatric Nursing of Alberta (CRPNA). Candidates will have a minimum of three years of recent clinical experience in an applicable clinical area. Travel is required. Applicants are required to adhere to clinical placement policies and guidelines and meet the requisite skills and abilities of the applicable nursing profession. Successful candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, a student-centered approach to learning, and a strong understanding of nursing practice.
