Estimator – Direct Hire - Salary 50K yearly + bonus

One of our clients, a commercial and industrial painting company with 35 years of experience, is seeking a seasoned estimator.

Overview of the Opportunity

You will be responsible for maintaining good contact with current and prospective customers. As an estimator, your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships with colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

1. General and Administrative:

• Follow company manuals' systems and procedures.
• Participate as a key team player to support operations.

• Customer Service:

• Process customer orders efficiently and courteously.
• Organize schedule to meet customer deadlines.
• Prepare estimates based on customer specifications.
• Price production work using industry standards.
• Manage telephone calls and customer complaints professionally.

• Sales and Marketing:

• Support customer sales through service and problem-solving.
• Follow sales and marketing strategies outlined by the General Manager.

• Fiscal Responsibility:

• Maintain pricing and knowledge of suppliers.
• Coordinate with management on jobs and cost-saving potential.

Job Specific Qualifications & Requirements

• Own vehicle required.
• 5+ years of experience in COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL PAINTING preferred.
• Knowledge of cost accounting methods and sales/customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF formats.
• Exceptional phone and customer service skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement: French not required

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay
