Salary Range: $45,000.00 To 50,000.00 Annually Information and Operations Coordinator // INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Position Purpose and Summary The Information and Operations Coordinator (IOC) works within the Information Technology department, providing technical and operational support. The IOC will be a technical expert on the platform(s) used for service management, currently, TeamDynamix. This role will primarily support the student facing Service Hub team, additionally reviewing usage by other departments for continuous improvement. Key Areas of Accountability Ensure the university needs are met in serving it's customers with high quality service by way of technical expertise and innovation in the service management platform(s). Administer service management platform(s), including: site administration, troubleshooting, site updates and development, data integrity, access permissions, and security requirements. Develop and deliver platform(s) training to: support, resolve issues, and meet the needs of the department, including best practices. Plan for, develop, and implement technological system changes to enhance student experience within the service management process. Ensure that data is entered into service management platforms correctly and kept up to date. Assist in analysis, and reporting on service data to support departmental and institutional assessments. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the portfolio of services, systems, and products. Consistently seek to provide all customers with world-class customer service, seeking solutions as efficiently as possible, in humble and effective manner. Act in a manner that exemplifies Jesus Christ in all on and off campus contacts thereby living out the mission of the university and displaying servant leadership. The Person Skills and Abilities A self-starter, motivated to do quality work, being solution oriented. Strong technical abilities, willing and able to continuously improving one's self. Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing and prioritizing time sensitive workloads, ability to manage and delegate the ebb and flow of workload expectations at varying times of the year. Excellent interpersonal skills with a wide variety of people both on and off campus. Strong team-building skills and conflict resolution capability. Well-developed office management skills complemented by strong oral and written language/communication skills. Ability to manage and control information through use of computer software and analyzing data. Key Internal Interactions Reports: None Reports to: ESMDirector Standards & Requirements Education : Bachelor's degree or post-secondary degree in relative discipline, or equivalent job experience. ITIL certification or equivalent Service Management best practices an asset. Experience : 1-2 years experience with web-based application administration.
