Work Setting: Government Administration
  1. Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  2. Coordinate the activities of the HR department to meet the organization's goals
  3. Direct and control daily operations
  4. Evaluate daily operations
  5. Review HR projects for compliance with laws and regulations
  6. Establish and implement policies and procedures
  7. Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
  8. Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
  9. Manage contracts
  10. Manage training and development strategies
  11. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  12. Respond to employee questions and complaints
  13. Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants
  14. Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  15. Recruit and hire staff
  16. Conduct performance reviews
  17. Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  18. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Supervision:

3-4 people

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word
