What you will be doing in the role of Project Engineering: Act as main point of contact for customers, Emerson contacts, and team members within the Nuclear Team for assigned orders and projects # Prepare and maintain detailed documentation tracking lists, project status reports, and documentation packages (when necessary) to ensure all customer comments are addressed # Create and process non-technical change orders to facilitate PO updates and/or necessary changes within Lakeside's ERP system # Lead and maintain regular cadence calls with assigned vendor or Emerson Business Units # Support site visits and initiatives with assigned vendors or Emerson Business Units to improve business relationship # Act as an escalation point for the Nuclear Team for assigned vendor or Emerson Business Unit # Act as back-up to a Project Manager for specific meetings or engagements # Act as Process Owner for assigned nuclear processes and continually assess areas for continuous improvement One to Four (1-4) years' experience in Project Coordination or Project Engineering Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma in an Engineering program (Chemical or Mechanical discipline preferred) Exposure to Project Management methodologies Knowledge of process control and instrumentation Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including training & presentation skills Strong knowledge and abilities with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Exposure to the process industry including Chemical and Specialty Chemicals, Mining, Pulp and Paper, Refining, Power, Cogeneration (Power and Steam Production), Pharma and Biotech, and Food and Beverage would be an asset Flexible working schedules, including hybrid remote work programs Comprehensive benefits coverage (medical, dental, vision, EAP & on-demand virtual health care) A structured training and development program and opportunities for continuous learning Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is committed to employment equity and welcomes diversity.
