About The Role

The Marketing Manager, Preclinical Services collaborates with multiple subject matter experts to coordinate and execute a fully integrated marketing strategy for the Preclinical services, including creative campaigns, events, and digital marketing.

The Marketing Manager, Preclinical Services must remain abreast of the latest market/industry trends, as well as understand the Altasciences value proposition and customer base, in order to build brand awareness and support internal stakeholders by providing them with the tools, materials, and presentations to drive leads.

What You'll Do Here

  • Develop the annual marketing plan with the support of the Marketing Director, and execute the strategy that will increase brand awareness and market share;
  • Develop all Marketing campaigns and assets used in various communication channels, such as emails, brochures, eBooks, videos, social media, etc...;
  • Ensuring all marketing campaigns are delivered within set timelines and budget;
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, and propose methods of improvement, if any;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Business Development, Preclinical Scientists, and Operations team to create content, with the goal of delivering effective sales tools;
  • Be involved in other cross-functional marketing projects, such as podcasts and webinars;
  • Stay abreast of industry reports and trends, analyze content and data on websites, and evaluate client survey responses to gain customer insight/needs for services;
  • Maximize use of various third party media platforms to expand brand/portfolio recognition and gain new leads;
  • Perform analysis of current market conditions and competitor information;
  • Utilize Altasciences electronic marketing database for targeted marketing campaigns and activities;
  • Monitor industry best practices;
  • In Marketing Director's absence, lead internal project status meetings and ongoing project schedule updates;
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities in the context of business priorities and management expectations;
  • When necessary, travel to Preclinical sites and attend conferences.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor degree in business or marketing-related field or equivalent professional qualification;
  • Experience working within the pharmaceutical, medical, or scientific research industry is considered an asset.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing high quality marketing material and campaigns;
  • Strong organization and planning skills, with attention to detail;
  • Strategic thinker and problem-solver;
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics;
  • Thorough understanding of branding principles and tactics through multimedia including the Web;
  • Experience with relevant software applications (knowledge of Pardot, Salesforce , and/or Google Analytics is considered an asset);
  • Strong project and budget management skills;
  • Skills in tracking the return on investment of various projects/initiatives (ROI)
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills;
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
  • Ability to motivate, influence, and lead peers;
  • Willing to travel on occasion.
