Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunityfor an Outside Sales Representative in our Aftermarket division to join our team at our Mississaugabranch. Duties and Responsibilities: Travel to customer locations within assigned territory. (Up to 70% travel time) Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts. Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers. Forecast and develop potential sales plans of existing and prospective customers. Provide management with reporting on accounts outlining customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Remain up to date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends, etc. Participate in training programs that vendor, sales other professional development areas. Conduct industry related presentations. May deliver parts to customer locations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: ~ Valid Class 5/G drivers' license with six years driving experience required. ~ Driver's abstract with no major infractions subject to approval by FGI insurers required. ~3 - 5 years' sales experience in an outside sales position preferred. ~ Heavy duty parts knowledge or background in a related industry preferred. ~ Excellent Customer Service skills – dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers. ~ Strong written and verbal skills – ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues. ~ Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systems.
