In this position as an Electrical Engineering Technician / Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of engineers and technologists on multiple projects for a range of public and private sector clients. This is a great opportunity for an energetic individual who wants to challenge their abilities in a dynamic work environment.Your Key ResponsibilitiesFacility condition assessments.Collection of necessary design input site information.Constructability reviews of designs.Technical guidance of design teams and provision of feedback from construction sites.Assistance with estimating of probable cost of construction.Construction contract administration.Provision of engineering oversight of projects in construction, including review of contractor submissions, responses to contractor inquiries, field reviews of electrical installations, etc.QualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsIn-depth knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, National Building Code of Canada, and other codes and standards governing electrical installations.In-depth knowledge of construction practices and techniques.
