The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing raw materials and WIP in the plant and FG inventories in the plant, 3rd party warehouses as well as St-Maurice rod in their plant. This position is also responsible for supporting the achievement of plant inventory dollar objectives. He/she is responsible for transportation logistics in or out of the plant or 3rd party warehouses in order to meet GCC transportation goals and standards. Analyzes, develops and implements, programs, methods, techniques, practices and procedures needed to assure the integrated physical flow of materials and products through the production process. Develops plans, measures and controls for establishing inventory mix requirements and levels of materials, components and products in all stages of production and distribution. Works with Corporate Supply Chain Management on forecasting, production planning and required schedule changes as needed based on customer demand and business requirements Performs short and long-range capacity planning. Works with CI and Quality Manager, Metallurgical Engineer, and Production Coordinators, to maximize production output and minimize material in WIP and reduce scrap. Takes responsibility for purchasing of raw and remelt materials, the creation and modification of the production schedule and the shipment of products. Takes responsibility of 3rd party warehouses whom warehouse and ship product to our customers. Takes responsibility of the shipping/receiving team as well as the remelt coordinator. A result driven individual with proven experience in logistics and scheduling in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual (French and English) Good written and oral communication skills in both official languages and proven ability to work cross functionally and solve difficult problems Solid planning, leadership, computer, and administrative skills.
