About the role :
Responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, and provides professional leadership and direction to kitchen personnel. Ensures that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet the restaurant's specifications and commitment to quality. Maintains a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen. Demonstrates this by example, using proper food-handling techniques.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures that all stations remain stocked before and during the meal period.
- Follow all recipes and portions correctly.
- Keeps kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean and organized.
We are looking for:
- No experience is necessary (min 1 year preferred)
- Passionate about food and cooking with a willingness to learn
- Versed in food safety to ensure the highest standards are executed
- A hard worker driven to achieve individual, team and company goals
- Eager to learn the process of operating a busy kitchen
