Position:

We are hiring a SupplyChain Support Clerk for this summer season, based out of our Head Office inCourtenay, and reporting to the Purchasing Manager. The termwill be from approximately July 1st to Sept 13th, 2024. If you love being a critical part ofsupplying operations, and willing to jump in where needed, then this might bethe job for you.

This position ispart time and approximately 20 hours weekly with a Tuesday to Friday schedule.

Drive west along one of the mostscenic highways in Canada through the spectacular mountainous landscape ofStrathcona Park and the village of Gold River towards Tahsis. Approximately 2 hours by road from CampbellRiver on Vancouver Island is Moutcha Bay Resort , on the watersofNootka Sound.

Nootka Sound Resort is located atGaliano Bay and surrounded by rugged Canadian coastal mountains and thickold-growth forest. This all-inclusivefloating resort is accessible by boat or floatplane and popular with corporategroups.

An upscale floating resort locatedin a secluded bay in Espinosa Inlet (near the Pacific entrance to EsperanzaInlet), Newton Cove Resort is a gem in the wilderness. Here we provide easy access to BC's bestsalmon & halibut fishing for more adventurous anglers.

Requirements of Supply Chain Support Agent:

Avalid diver licence and clean driver abstract.

Willingnessto travel weekly to our land-based resort and drive on secondary roads.

Abilityto multi-task and problem solve effectively.

Organization,coordination, and time management skills.

Strongadministrative and numeracy skills.

Tech-savvyand ability to learn and use multiple software including the Microsoft OfficeSuite.

Supply chain experience in receiving,shipping, or procurement (preferred)

Class 1 or class 2 driver licence(preferred)

Duties for Supply Chain Support Agent:

Pickup purchases by vehicle and deliver at the warehouse facility or headoffice.

Bi-weeklydelivery of supplies to our resorts.

Receive incoming shipments, check qualityof the items, and verify accuracy of the order.

Organize and maintain inventory storageareas to ensure efficient use of space.

Log and track all inventory through theinventory management system.

Keep accurate records and logs of allinventory movement.

Prepare shipments with labels, packaging,and necessary documentation.

Regularly communicate with the resorts onthe progress of shipments.

Coordinate with the shipping carriers forpickups and deliveries.

Assist with periodic inventorycounts.

Assist with ordering and purchasing whenrequired.

Assist with resolvingshipment and inventory issues as they arise.

Office administrative duties asassigned such as scanning, attending meetings, and managing an inbox.
