Legal Operations Manager

Summary:

Are you ready to delve into intellectually stimulating work? We're seeking an energetic, business-minded, innovative, tech savvy, and self-motivated candidate with experience in in-house legal department operations. As the Manager of Legal Operations, you will have accountability for managing key systems and processes to the Legal Department relating to budget, workflows, and technology of the Legal Department. You will be a proven leader who fosters a culture that values excellence, innovation, teamwork, and respect.

Typical Accountabilities:

Own the strategy, innovation, and execution of the Legal Department's systems and processes, potentially including for example document management, legal hold, matter management.

Collaborate with others across Legal and Legal Operations, Finance, Procurement, IT and Global Business Services

Upskill the department on technology, process, and document management practices

Manage vendor relationships and subscriptions, and analyze and report on KPIs, budgets, and resources.

Work across all functions of the Legal Department and the Legal Operations team to consistently drive process improvement across Legal, developing and driving execution of standard processes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's degree

Strong financial and technical competence

Familiarity with CounselLink, LegalTracker, or similar Legal ebilling platforms and iManage or other document management systems

Strategic thinking and desire/ability to identify and seek to implement continuous improvements to systems and processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask

Analytical problem solving and decision-making

Time and project management skills

Strong organizational skills

Demonstrated collaboration skills

Resilient and able to adapt to changing environment

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidential information

Preferred Skills/Experience:

College degree

Familiarity with SAP

Experience with artificial intelligence

Experience with iManage or other document management systems
