What you will be doing in the role of Application Engineering:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Primary Responsibilities:
    1. Preparing written quotations and proposals in response to opportunities identified by customer inquiries, through service or engineering engagement, or through front line sales.
    2. Responsible for working with the different Business Units and across the organization to pull together required expertise to estimate and provide proposals for turn-key solutions.
    3. Making recommendations to customer as to which products to use on specific applications.
    4. Providing technical support, equipment selection, scope definition, solutions development and quotations to customers.
    5. Performing necessary performance calculations and analysis, troubleshooting processes or product-related issues.
    6. Review incoming RFQ's or scope documents. Assess RFQ Terms and Conditions including delivery, payment terms, performance guarantees, etc.
    7. Ensuring proper execution of an order from quotation to final shipment.
    8. Up selling products to customers to increase sales volume.
  2. Other Duties:
    1. Responsible for moving initiative and sales process forward and in certain situations could lead solutions sales process.
    2. Participate in funnel management reviews.
    3. Develop and provide customer demonstrations.
Knowledge and skills required for the role:

University Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering.

Three to Five (3-5) years' experience in the field.

Experienced in cross divisional solutions development.

Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.

Strategic thinking.

Effective communication skills.

Analytical skills.
