WSP is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our Prairies & North Geotechnical Engineering & Laboratory Group in WSP's Saskatoon office on a full-time basis. You'll work closely with our tight-knit team, be mentored by industry experts, and work on various project throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba.Provide technical support in geotechnical projects including field investigation, laboratory test result interpretation; and geotechnical analysisComplete geotechnical analyses including bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability and seepage under the direction and supervision of intermediate and senior engineersAssist senior team members in preparing geotechnical studies, prepare proposals, cost estimates and engineering reportsCoordinate and carry out field reviews of construction works and materials testingComplete geotechnical investigations including test pitting, drilling, and cone penetration tests0 to 2 years of relevant (post-degree) experience working in a consulting engineering environmentBachelor's Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with Geotechnical emphasis from an accredited universityRegistered or eligible to be registered as an Engineer in Training in SaskatchewanStrong technical writing, interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligenceOpenness to work away from the office and on project sitesWSP is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
