We're looking for a Director, Learning & Organizational Development to join our Talent Team. Your role will be required to regularly perform essential duties on behalf of the company from your assigned Aviso office. Your role is considered medium flexibility, requiring you to work onsite 1-3 days per week at our office at 1111 West Georgia St, Vancouver, B.Reporting to the VP, Chief Talent Officer, the Director, Learning & Organizational Development is responsible for leading the design and execution of an integrated enterprise-wide learning and organizational development strategy, providing programs and activities required to: Advance the skills and capabilities of our employees to deliver on our corporate strategy You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization Leadership - You lead your team and provide regular direction, guidance, coaching, and motivation, all while striving for peak performance. Work with executive and senior leadership across all lines of business in a consultative manner to assess and identify skills gaps in their organizations, and to design & develop strategic learning solutions that improve individual and organizational performance Provide thought leadership and apply leading-edge learning practices to create and manage the design, development and delivery of our leadership development programs such as Onboarding and Orientation curriculum, the Emerging Leaders Program, career development, and a full suite of management and leadership programs built around Aviso's Purpose, Values, and behavioural model Launch and manage the Voice of the Employee and Great Place to Work survey in partnership with Director, Research and Insights Developing organizational development programs, tools, designs or other solutions that reflect the needs of the employees as expressed through Aviso's Voice of the Employee survey. This will include the application of change management principles Assist the People & Culture team by providing change management expertise to key projects and programs Continuously monitor and evaluate all Aviso training programs to ensure they are current and relevant to current Aviso employee needs as identified by the Voice of the Employee as well as the evolving strategic direction of Aviso Driving high performance teams, thought & people leadership through relationship building Lead and coach a team of learning and organizational development professionals Manage the development and delivery of all mandatory and regulatory training for all employees and contractors. Lead or participate on multiple internal projects varying in size and complexity. Create curricula content and learning journeys for large corporate events such as National Sales Meetings, Regional meetings, Senior Leadership Development etc Partners with stakeholders to determine causes for performance gaps and identifies developmental solutions in an attempt to improve organizational effectiveness 10-15 years' adult education / learning & development experience ~ In addition, experience in at least one of the following disciplines Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Change Management or Talent Management ~ Minimum 5 years' experience in a people management role with demonstrated success ~ Experience in Wealth Management or financial services a strong asset ~ Experience in Front End Analysis, developing learning curriculums and facilitating training ~ Previous consulting experience is an asset ~ Experience in the assessment, designing, and developing of learning programs using modern learning technique ~ Experience in leadership development as well as the design of technical or job specific skills ~ Knowledge of LMS capabilities to recommend delivery strategies to deliver an engaging and dynamic end-user experience ~ Experience with Articulate 360 and or other eLearning design tools, Learning Management software, and Knowledge Management tools ~ Ability to manage projects within prescribed timeframes and budgets and roll up sleeves when needed ~ Change management experience and certification asset ~ Proven ability to analyze problems, identify key information and issues, interpret data, and determine implications to provide recommendations and solutions ~ Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset Excellent health, dental and insurance benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees Matching contributions to our retirement program Commitment to the continuous improvement of our staff through learning & development and an education assistance program Regular social events to foster teamwork Aviso Wealth welcomes and encourages applications from all qualified individuals including persons with disabilities.
