Job Description

  • Convention Events Sales Manager

Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify and target potential clients, such as event planners, corporations, and organizations, for convention and event bookings at the hotel.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and marketing campaigns to achieve revenue goals.
  • Create promotional materials and packages to attract event bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide customized event solutions, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Collaborate with event planners to coordinate all aspects of upcoming events.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
Relevant sales experience is an asset
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Highly responsible & reliable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
