Our client specializes in delivering top-notch development management services to Indigenous groups, focusing on affordable housing, healthcare, and more. Meanwhile, their client, backed by the Squamish Nation Council, provides affordable housing for low-to-moderate income families, with a special focus on Squamish Nation members. As stewards of their traditional territory, the Squamish Nation's rich cultural heritage infuses every aspect of our client's work.

So, what will your day-to-day look like?

In this role, you'll be responsible for cultivating collaborative partnerships with community leaders and industry professionals, fostering an environment of teamwork and shared vision. You'll be managing multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, from origination to close-out, ensuring each initiative meets its objectives on time and within budget. Your keen eye for opportunity will be put to use as you evaluate the feasibility of development opportunities and craft tailored programs aligned with organizational goals.

Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in assisting clients in developing comprehensive business plans, guiding them through the process with expertise and insight. Leading proposal implementation, including resource allocation and funding applications, will be a key aspect of your role, as you navigate the intricacies of project financing. You'll also be tasked with managing procurement processes, contracts, and relationships with development partners, ensuring smooth operations and productive collaborations. Regulatory compliance and adherence to project milestones will be paramount, as you ensure all initiatives meet the necessary standards and regulations.

We're looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the real estate and/or construction sectors .

Your comprehensive understanding of project management principles will be key as you navigate complex initiatives and drive them to success.

Experience working with Indigenous Communities , coupled with a deep understanding of Indigenous traditions and territories, is crucial for building meaningful partnerships and ensuring our projects respect cultural sensitivities.

Additionally, your thorough knowledge of real estate development and construction process es will be invaluable as you lead projects from conception to completion.
