IMT PROJECT MANAGER:

($80,718.42 - $93,540.00 Annually)

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager is accountable for managing projects and delivery processes for all IT projects across IMT branch from end to end including governance, project team leadership, project tracking and monitoring, prioritization, communications, and quality controls. The Project Manager collaborates with various stakeholders to define project scope of work, priorities timelines and resources requirement. The position also provides guidance and supports to the project teams in defining work assignments and resources planning, ensures projects are completed within budget and schedules, and the quality of work meets expectations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The successful candidate will have the following:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Completion of Project Management Certification (PMP) is required.
  • Extensive experience in full cycle project management of technology and/ or business transformation projects and project management methodologies, including agile project management.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Extensive knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques and processes
  • Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office Project and other tools that support project management
  • Considerable knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, development, and deployment and management of risk, change, issues, time, scope, resources, budget, and quality in medium to large enterprise technology projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in collaborating and managing internal stakeholders and external stakeholders e.g. contractors, advisory firms, implementation partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution skills and business acumen
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with business and IT stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Ability to drive, coach and motivate staff in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and with all levels of staff
  • Ability to manage changing timelines and multiple deliverables
  • Ability to interact effectively with business and technology groups to deliver highly efficient solutions.
