Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Analyze complex datasets from industrial plant operations pinpointing trends and inefficiencies to enhance performance.
- Solve complex technical issues in the plant by integrating engineering knowledge with hands-on industrial technology skills.
- Utilize specialized software for comprehensive plant management, with a focus on design, cost-efficiency, and operational scheduling.
- Enhance plant safety standards.
- Implement time study standards on all fabrication procedures.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of contractor performance metrics to inform future contract awards and negotiations.
- Serve as liaison between the organization and contractors, fostering collaborative relationships while strictly adhering to contractual agreements.
- Support the day-to-day operations of industrial plant facilities, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently.
- Educate plant personnel on the latest industrial technologies and methodologies, leading to best practice operations.
- Champion the ongoing refinement of plant processes, employing lean principles and other efficiency-boosting methodologies.
- Launch and support initiatives that enhance sustainability and minimize waste in plant operations.
- Document process improvements and propagate a continuous learning ethos across the plant, contributing to a culture of operational excellence.
Skills Required: Completion of a 2-to-3-year program in industrial engineering, and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of related experience is required.
