We are committed to delivering timely, quality, and collaborative assessment, treatment, and health promotion in a supportive and caring environment that is open and transparent to social, ethnic, and income factors.Job Summary:Nation Health Centre is currently looking for a part-time or full-time Physiotherapist for the provision of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and care to patients residing in the Nation community and surrounding areas.Essential Responsibilities:As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering physiotherapy services to clients including:Initiating and managing the assessment and treatment for restoring movement/function and pain management;Developing personalized exercise programs to develop and restore range of motion, strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance;Administering electrotherapy, prescribing and educating clients utilization of mobility aids, assistive devices and other equipment;Care coordination and collaboration with other professionals;Client care planning, charting, care conferences, discharge, and transition planning;Overseeing and coordinating the roles and functions of Physiotherapy Support Personnel, in conjunction with the broader care team;Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy;Registration with College of Physiotherapy of Ontario;CPR certification;ADP certified or willingness to become certified preferred;Strong physical assessment & treatment planning skills;Excellent time management and organizational skills;Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively as a member of a team;Excellent oral and written communication skills;A commitment to best practices, quality, and client-centered care;2-3 years clinical practice experience preferred;Experience with neuro and vestibular rehabilitation an asset;Bilingual (French and English) considered an assetAdditional Information:We offer a fully electronic environment, excellent clinical and administrative support, and a very competitive split.Closing Date: Position remains open until filled.We thank all applicants for applying; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
