Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic (North Sites)- Primary Care Enhancement & Mobile Specialized Geriatric Team Temporary Full-Time (May 2024 until approximately March 2025) This position is funded through Ontario Health. Located on the coast of beautiful Georgian Bay, our facility boasts the best that both nature and technology can offer. WPSHC is looking for a Resident Physiotherapist/Physiotherapist, reporting to the Nurse Practitioner Lead and Manager of Operations at the Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic (NPLC). The Resident Physiotherapist/ Physiotherapist will travel between all the 3 NPLC North Sites (Argyle, Britt, and Whitestone). The successful applicant will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, including with another physiotherapist to provide primary care, assessment, consultation, and treatment services; enjoy the benefits of working in newer facilities; In addition, responsibilities will include but are not limited to establishing treatment goals, maintaining clinical and statistical records, conferring with Nurse Practitioners. Regular business hours Monday to Friday, as well as offsite work depending on operational requirements. To qualify for the role, you must have completed Masters of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent. Current license or eligibility for membership with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Physiotherapist); Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload; Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references; Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs; Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle as travel is required; A minimum of two years' experience in Physiotherapy would be an asset; Demonstrated skills and experience in health care teaching and supervising rehabilitation assistants and students would be an asset; Superior level of skill, experience, ability, and qualifications would be an asset. 2 years of experience would be preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
