Job Opening: Q Aircraft Configuration and Program PlannerWe currently have an opening for a full-time permanent Q Aircraft Configuration and Program Planner position. Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Q Aircraft Configuration and Program Planner is an integral member of the Planning Team, focusing primarily on maintaining the Conair Q Configuration and Program requirements.
Responsibilities:- Maintain Part and Component Configurations for Conair Q Fleet Aircraft
- Support Development of Q Maintenance Program while building efficiencies and Task Card relationships
- Enhance the Maintenance Program, including Component, Structural, and Powerplant as identified via available data
- Maintain Conair ERP configuration setup as required
- Create and maintain component records as applicable
- Review Q PES Program and implement requirements as applicable
- Evaluate and implement all instructions for continued Airworthiness into the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AD's, SB's, Repairs, Engineering Orders, ICA's)
- Support the Bridging of Aircraft Maintenance task status into Conair's Maintenance Program and ERP system
- Interpret and account for additional Maintenance requirements set out by additional sources, including Engineering, Transport Canada, Aeronautical Product Manufacturers, and the OEM
- Aid in determining the required work scope requirements for Aircraft undergoing Air Tanker Conversion
- Review Aircraft Documentation for data accuracy and task compliance
- Other related duties as assigned
- Naturally organized and methodical, with a focus on efficiency
- Ability to read and interpret Technical Documentation, including but not limited to, AD's, Service Bulletins, Maintenance Manuals, and Engineering documentation
- Knowledge of Aircraft maintenance programs, MSG 3 philosophy, technical records, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Programs an asset
- Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Bridging an asset
- Knowledge of Component Maintenance requirements an asset
- Ability to work effectively with MS Excel
- Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Committed team player with the ability to focus on deliverables
2 years relevant experience with aircraft Maintenance Programs and Planning considered an asset. Working knowledge and experience with a materials or enterprise resource planning system an asset. AME License or equivalent experience will be considered an asset.
