Data Analyst - Dental Manufacturing ** ONLY APPLICANTS THAT ARE CALGARY-BASED WILL BE CONSIDEREDSummit Search Group Calgary is partnering with a well-established full-service manufacturing company in the dental industry with locations across Canada. Our CALGARY client is hiring an intermediate level Data Analyst with experience in the manufacturing industry and strong skills in SQL and Power BI. Working closely with their data team, you will play a pivotal role in extracting meaningful and actionable insights from large datasets, providing support to business stakeholders, contributing to data-driven decision­ making processes, and ensuring the integrity of data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong foundation in SQL and Power BI with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates must have demonstrated accomplishments and experience with optimizing queries and improving model performance, managing, handling, and analyzing large datasets, a strong understanding of data modeling, integrity, and database design principles, and excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.SQLsupport analytics team by managing, tracking, and maintaining databases across locationsensure standardization across databases by writing scripts and/or advanced proceduresdevelop strategies to identify and highlight inconsistencies across data, while implementing protocols to maintain data integrity and consistencymonitor and provide timely details regarding issues and resolution steps to the appropriate internal teamsPower Bl/Service and Report Building discover, collect, clean, interpret, manipulate, and analyze large complex data sets, while creating maps, visualizations, models, dashboards, and reports to present data, formulate solutions and make recommendationsdevelop, update, manage and troubleshoot reports for various stakeholders in response to business requestsProcess Improvement and SOPs identify areas for process improvement and contribute to development of efficient operating procedurescreate technical documents and/or SOPs for existing processes, methods, and models to ensure stakeholders have the necessary understanding and context, while promoting business continuitydevelop, update, and maintain change logs and other documentation to effectively manage version control in line with progress of assigned projects and initiativesCandidates must possess 3-5 years experience as a Data Analyst, and current experience working within the manufacturing industry is required. This is an on-site role working at the Head Office location in downtown Calgary.
