We also provide specialized, advanced care to people from across the province.The 4 site Nuclear Medicine Department supports a diverse patient population providing service to all clinical programs with an emphasis on Cardiac, Oncology, Neuro and Vascular.*Position Summary*Working closely with other members of the department, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs clinical imaging procedures while maintaining an environment which is patient-focused. Other responsibilities include: ensuring all procedures are performed according to established protocols and standards of practice and in a safe and compliant manner according to CNSC regulations; participating in various training programs and research studies; and contributing to an environment which supports clinical excellence and continuous learning.*Schedule Work Hours*Monday to Friday; days*Qualifications ** Graduate of an approved training program in Nuclear Medicine Technology* Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario* Basic Life Support Certificate (must be current or acquired within 3 months)* Ability and willingness to work with and teach students* Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment* Demonstrated effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills* Effective problem solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced clinical environment* Evidence of participation in on going education & professional development* Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred_As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to Employee Health Services._*Guidelines*Hamilton Health Sciences fosters a culture of patient and staff safety, whereby all employees are guided by our Mission, Vision, Values, and Values Based Code of Conduct.
