Streetcar Brewing is looking to hire a Head Brewer to take over operations. We are a nano brewery running the Brewha ( and looking for someone to be a one person team brewing the beer. We are small so benefits of creative control without having to worry about what sells in stores as we sell 99.9% in-house.
Responsibilities/Obligations
Production:
- Lead all areas of production including brewing, cellaring, packaging (kegging & canning)
- Monitor active fermentation and responsible for quality of final, packaged products.
- Inventory management including ordering (packaged product, materials, raw ingredients).
- Recipe development.
Administration:
- Proper record keeping, including but not limited to:
- Accurate fermentation tracking and recording
- Accurate packaging records including units package, volume, losses, dates, etc.
- knowledge and understanding of the BCLDB and LCRB requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience managing the production process
- Physically fit; able to lift 55lb bags, etc., maneuver kegs, etc.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Google Drive
- Experience working with a canning line an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
