Job Description

Our client is a tier one contractor seeking an experienced Senior Engineer for construction projects in Wexford and throughout the South East Region.

Responsible for assisting the construction management team, duties include but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for the management, monitoring, co-ordination and delivery of all engineering functions to meet project objectives.
2. Responsible for the effective control and flow of all technical information required on the project.
3. Work closely with the project team to drive the company's Health and Safety standards on site.
4. Integrate and challenge design and technical proposals and problem-solve to achieve optimal solutions.
5. Monitor and drive the quality of setting out standards on the project.
6. Mentor the engineering team on the project to assist the team to develop their technical skills.

Requirements

• Relevant Civil Engineering Qualifications
• Relevant Third level Degree
• At least 5-7 years experience in a similar role
• Previous Main Contractor infrastructure construction projects experience is preferred (Roads, Motorways, Infrastructure)
• Setting out experience is essential
• IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft and BIM software, AutoCAD.
• Ability to work well within a team to collaborate with others

Package

Salary €65k - €75k Negotiable dependant on experience, vehicle and pension.

Full time permanent staff role with ongoing work in the South East region.
