Tasks:
  1. Establish work schedules and procedures
  2. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  3. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  4. Prepare and submit reports
  5. Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  6. Maintain work records and logs
  7. Monitor personnel workloads and locations
  8. Organize warehouse and work areas
  9. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  10. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  11. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  12. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  13. Train workers in duties and policies
  14. Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  15. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  16. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  17. Organize and maintain inventory
