Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Receiving Clerk for a Temporary role in Ajax, ON, offering a competitive salary of $30.88 per hour. The ideal candidate will manage supplier shipments, handle SAP data entry, and ensure timely processing of outbound shipments. This role requires flexibility for day and afternoon shifts, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm and 3:30pm-11:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Receive on-dock supplier shipments and accurately enter receipts into SAP, including serial numbers and batch numbers.

• Load/unload trucks and package outbound shipments for timely delivery, ensuring all necessary paperwork is included.

• Inspect products to ensure conformity to paperwork and travelers, escalating any discrepancies as necessary.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and pass a criminal record check.

• 5 years of shipping/receiving experience, with a strong understanding of shipping protocols and safety standards.

• Proven problem-solving skills and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing principles.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong team player with a positive attitude.

• Forklift certification is an asset.

• Availability for both day (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and afternoon (3:30 PM - 11:30 PM) shifts.

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
