We are currently hiring for a Senior Logistics Coordinator (Router). The Senior Logistics Coordinator (Router) will execute the daily Outbound route planning functions with a strong focus on accuracy, on-time delivery performance, equipment utilization and efficient routing practices, to support the overall cost effectiveness, business performance, and market stratification. This will include accurate and concise reporting of daily KPI's related to routing performance, while overseeing and providing support toother routers on the team. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Conduct Routing Plans for outbound route network to meet customer requirements and support business needs. Review new customer addition for change requests to the delivery network, and provide recommendations or approvals to sales group. Provide effective decisions to support customer service levels, delivery expectations, parameters and overall customer satisfaction. Apply decision-making in real time, and manage the volatility of Foodservice while maintaining business performance standards and customer service levels. Maintain internal relationships with all major operational entities including supply chain, warehousing, sales, delivery drivers and customer relations. Provide support for the training and development of others on the team. Minimum 3 years of previous experience within a Transportation/logistics and food distribution environment. Advanced computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong leadership skills and previous experience leading others considered an asset. Experience utilizing route (PeopleNET, RoadNET) planning tools considered an asset .
