The Consolidation Manager position involves preparing accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, supervising reports compliant with ASPE and internal policies, and managing financial reporting workflows. This role also includes improving reporting and automation processes, developing analytical tools, and leading a dedicated team.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Responsible for preparation of timely and accurate consolidation financial statements ;
  • Preparation of reports, ensuring the financial records are maintained in compliance with ASPE and internal policies and procedures ;
  • Lead the allocations & consolidations reporting workstream, including reviewing and posting corporate journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation entries ;
  • Review of local entities submissions ;
  • Research data from various sources to ensure consistency and continuity of accounting and reporting systems ;
  • Proactively improve the reporting and automation processes, including formalizing and documenting procedures ;
  • Assist with the oversight of chart of accounts maintenance in both ERP and reporting software ;
  • Develop new analytical tools as needed to enhance and streamline reporting ;
  • Manage and provide leadership, coaching and development to the consolidation and reporting team ;
  • Assisting in the Company's evaluation of technical accounting matters, including those related to complex transactions, emerging areas, and adoption of new accounting standards ;
  • Assist with various year-end audit & tax packages ;
  • Report on key KPIs within finance team ;
  • OneStream administrator, including application change management and governance.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Minimum of five years experience, experience working with the BIG 4 is a plus ;
  • CPA ;
  • Strong MS Excel skills. SAGE, OneStream, and SQL would be an asset ;
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and organized with good understanding and ability to document financial controls and processes ;
  • Well-grounded knowledge and comprehensive understanding of financial accounting according to ASPE ;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and strive well in a fast-paced work environment ;
  • Experience with foreign currencies and multi-national companies strongly preferred ;

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
