Business Analyst Contract - 6-12 months and subject for extensionsOnsite - BramptonObjective of Assignment:To assist with the gathering of business and technical requirements for the development of business cases to be used for the project intake process. Our client is formalizing the implementation of an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and has developed new processes for idea/project intake, evaluation and prioritization. The Business Analyst will focus on the idea intake process and work directly with the business stakeholders to gather the business requirements, identify any additional process areas such as Information Technology, Finance, Legal, Human resources etc. that will be required to deliver on the project objectives. These requirements will form the foundational business case that will be presented to the governance committee for approval and prioritization. The Business Analyst will work hand in hand with the EPMO teams and existing Operations Planning and Resources (OP&R ) staff/project teams.The deliverables of the Operations Planning and Resources (OP&R) Business Analyst include:Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify, elicit, develop and document full business and technical requirements and operations processes for the idea intake.Liaise across the client's organization,, including Information Technology, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resources and Frontline Staff to ensure that requirements are documented for the development of business cases that are pertinent to the idea that has been submitted.Assist with the development of business work plan.Other project duties may be assigned as needed.Qualifications:Five (5+) Years and above of work experience as a Business AnalystExperience working in an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) with specific experience in:Intake ProcessOperations planningEngaging with key stakeholders in IT, Finance, Legal, Human Resources and other departmentsBusiness case developmentExcellent verbal, presentation, and written skillsUtilizes an array of business analysis tools and technologies
