Web Content Developer (Intermediate) Contract length: Asap Our client is a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta - Canada, that develops and operates natural gas pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants, with focus on renewable energy sources. Under the direction of the Manager, Brand, Web & Creative, the successful candidate will: • Design and build engaging, mobile-responsive website layouts and user interfaces that provide an optimal user experience • Collaborate with other teams to translate ideas and concepts into cohesive and functional web experiences • Ensure designs adhere to best practices in web usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility • Optimize web pages for performance, speed, and search engine visibility • Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing client websites as needed • Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and industry standards 3-5 years of professional experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive web design • Expertise in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma • Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience best practices, and cross-browser compatibility • Extensive experience with content management systems (Optimizely, Webflow, SiteCore and/or Adobe Experience Manager preferred) • Experience with animation and motion design for the web • Familiarity with web development frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and guidelines With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining andManufacturingsectors worldwide.
