Résumé du poste

Le gestionnaire de la facturation relèvera du directeur de l'optimisation des revenus, sera responsable d'une équipe de quatre personnes et supervisera les opérations de facturation afin d'assurer une facturation exacte et en temps opportun, ainsi que la comptabilisation des revenus pour trois unités d'affaires. Dans ce rôle, vous soutiendrez l'équipe en effectuant des tâches de facturation, en répondant aux questions de l'équipe, en collaborant avec d'autres services : Finances, Soutien aux ventes, Service à la clientèle et Opérations. Vous devrez répondre aux demandes des clients, aux écarts de facturation, optimiser les processus et soutenir la croissance des revenus.

Section A – Responsabilités spécifiques
  • Votre rôle consistera à gérer diverses activités de facturation, en veillant à ce que les factures soient exactes et conformes aux politiques de l'entreprise.

  • Assurer le leadership et l'orientation de votre équipe de quatre spécialistes/analystes de la facturation tout en respectant les valeurs de McKesson.

  • Fixer des objectifs de performance, dispenser des formations et effectuer des évaluations de rendement régulières.

  • Veillez à ce que chaque facture contienne la documentation appropriée qui pourra être examinée.

  • Vous ou votre équipe devriez être en mesure de résoudre tout écart ou litige de facturation.

  • Pour répondre aux demandes des clients, résoudre les problèmes et entretenir des relations positives, il est possible de collaborer avec des équipes internes.

  • Vérifier que les pratiques de facturation respectent les réglementations en vigueur (comme les taxes de vente) et les contrôles internes.

  • Repérer les lacunes dans les processus et suggérer des mesures correctives pour limiter les pertes de revenus.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes de TI au besoin si le système ne fonctionne pas comme il le devrait.

  • Il est primordial que vous et votre équipe mettiez l'accent sur la satisfaction client maximale, qui est mesurée par le sondage Net Promoter Score.

Section B – Exigences du poste
  • Un minimum de 6 ans d'expérience dans la gestion de la facturation ou un rôle similaire.

  • Un minimum de 2 ans de gestion personnelle

  • Maîtrise du cycle comptable

  • Solide connaissance des systèmes de ressources d'entreprise (ERP) et de la plateforme de gestion de la relation client (CRM)

  • Capacités de résolution de problèmes pour résoudre les écarts de facturation et optimiser les processus.

The Billing Manager will report to the Director of Revenue Optimization and is responsible for a team of 4 and overseeing billing operations to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and revenue recognition for 3 business units. In this role you will support the team by performing invoicing tasks, answer team questions, collaborating with other departments, including Finance, Sales Support, Customer Service, and Operations. You will need to respond to customer inquiries, billing discrepancies, optimize processes, and support revenue growth.

This is a hyrbid role.

Section A – Specific Responsibilities
  • You will manage various billing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to your team of 4 billing specialists/analysts while respecting McKesson values.

  • Assign tasks, set performance goals, provide training, and conduct regular performance evaluations.

  • Ensure each invoice has the proper documentation which will be available for review.

  • You or your team should be able to resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes. This may require collaborating with internal teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.

  • Ensure billing practices comply with relevant regulations (such as sales taxes) and internal controls.

  • Identify process gaps and propose corrective actions to minimize revenue loss.

  • Collaborate with IT Teams as needed should the system not perform as it should.

  • You and your team must focus giving optimal customer satisfaction (measured by Net Promoter Score survey).

  • Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business

Section B – Position Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in billing management or a similar role.

  • A minimum of 2 year of personnel management

  • Proficient with accounting cycle

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise resource systems (ERP) and customer relationship management platform (CRM)

  • Problem-solving abilities to resolve billing discrepancies and optimize processes.

  • Fluency in written and oral English and French.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
