INSIDE /OUTSIDE SALES and Marketing - "Wear Steel" Fabricator

Reporting to the General Manager this person is expected to generate profitable fabrication opportunities related to the mining and construction industries, prepare fabrication bids and quotations. Some International travel is involved. Specific industry experience not necessary as on the job training will be provided.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop project leads and opportunities while maintaining customer relationships.
• Evaluate and prepare job cost bids and quotes
• Provide analysis of project costs and profitability
• Work with shop foremen to keep projects within scope, timeline and budget
• Some international travel to company and customer facilities

Desired Skills and Experience

• Outgoing , aggressive, highly motivated to succeed
• Ability to make cold calls and get to the decision maker
• Ideally 3-5 years' exposer to the steel industry or related industrial business
• Mechanical aptitude and some ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings
• Excel and Word
• Superior English Language skills both written and oral

Full time position in Mississauga Ontario, which can lead to increased responsibilities.

This position is a combination of a substantial base salary plus car allowance and a commission structure that can reach the low to mid 6 figures.
