What does this job involve?

The Senior MAXIMO Developer requires active engagement with client stakeholders and project teams to design and lead solutions. The Developer will also liaison with internal stakeholders such as Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure and Database Administrators to understand the dependences and policies for data movement across the organization.

As a Senior Maximo Developer, you will be responsible for:

Essential Functions

Perform installation, configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting of off-the-shelf and custom software applications in JLL hosting environments as well as customer test, development, staging and production environments.

Configure and enhance client business processes using Maximo's Platform Configuration tools.

Contribute to the complete software development life cycle: defining, designing, building, testing, and deploying.

Assist with unit testing and quality assurance of the solution build at the various stages.

Identify gaps and improvements in the proposed design and partner with Solution Consultants and Project Managers to reevaluate the design and project plan.

Customer Support

Analyze customer's challenges and take a primary role in the design, development and implementation of comprehensive solutions that integrate smoothly into customer environments.

Identify gaps and improvements in the proposed design and partner with Solution Architects and Project Managers to reevaluate the design and project plan.

BIRT Report troubleshooting and development.

Perform data management tasks and data structure modification, as well as development of data migration interfaces to integrate disparate applications/databases.

Perform data mapping, data manipulation and data migration among various database systems and enterprise applications.

Education, Certifications and Experience

Requires 3-5 years of working experience in Maximo implementations and software development, technical support, solutions deployment, or consulting of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management Solutions (EAM), or Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP).

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable work experience in relevant domain.

IBM Maximo and/or relevant technical certifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must have strong communication, presentation, organization, planning, and the interpersonal skills necessary to work as a team member and act as a liaison with customers.

Must possess understanding of core Maximo functionality in the following modules: Financial, Assets, Work Orders, Self Service/Service Desk, Preventive Maintenance, Planning, Inventory, Procurement and Contracts.

Experience with Maximo's Industry Solution add-ons is a plus.

Firm understanding of, and experience with Maximo's Signature Security, Administrative applications, System Configuration tools and Integration module.

Must have extensive knowledge of the Standard Query Language (SQL) - emphasis on Oracle and/or SQLServer functions, Python, and the Microsoft Portfolio.

Working knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web application development.

Solid understanding of development and programming best practices.

Experience with various web API's and the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).

Implementation and deployment experience with enterprise software.

Ability to translate standard requirements into technical tasks.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to convey thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to adhere to project schedules, project constraints and the prioritization of project tasks.

Experience working with ETL processes & systems, and data management practices.

Working knowledge of data modeling and governance practices.
