Brymark Installations Group Inc. is a prominent player in the industry and we are seeking an experienced Intermediate Estimator to be a part of our team. Type: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed estimates for projects that involve multiple disciplines. This includes determining the necessary materials, assessing potential risks, and analyzing labor productivity.

· Review project specifications and contract documents for construction management and large lump sum projects.

· Create RFQ/RFP packages and select the most competitive pricing from subtrades and vendors.

· Develop conceptual and budget estimates based on historical data and benchmarking.

· Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and trade contractors.

· Identify potential risks and opportunities for projects and suggest strategies for cost-saving.

· Develop and update construction schedules and workforce loading documents.

· Provide support to the construction execution team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Postsecondary diploma or degree in a related discipline or Technical School certification
• Gold Seal Certified, LEED Accredited, and other relevant certifications are assets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Adobe/Bluebeam
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, On-Screen Takeoff, and HCSS
• Industrial site experience with pipefitting, ironworking, and millwright trades
• Understanding of structural steel, mechanical equipment, and piping erection best practices
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to read and understand construction/engineering documents
