This role involves providing vital support to the Head Racquets Professional, overseeing the service quality of the tennis facilities, and ensuring member satisfaction exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations at the tennis office, ensuring smooth workflow and addressing any operational challenges. Address member inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining professionalism and courtesy. Manage Racquets department billing for clinics, camps, programs, events, and merchandise sales, excluding individual lessons. Handle invoicing and payment processes for racquet repairs, including stringing and regripping services. Supervise office staff, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to perform their duties efficiently. Facilitate regular communication and meetings with tennis staff to discuss and implement strategies for service improvement. Coordinate content for the Racquets section on the website and broadcast emails. Arrange facilities for Racquets events and manage seasonal transitions of the Racquets office. Schedule and oversee Racquets staff work schedules using Ceridian Dayforce. Support the organization and smooth execution of tennis and squash events, programs, and social activities. Maintain effective communication channels within the department and with members, utilizing various platforms. Participate in Racquets Committee meetings, taking minutes and providing updates. Assist with the organization of team matches, including scheduling, score tracking, and other logistics. Manage court reservations and ensure the online booking system is up-to-date. Contribute to a welcoming and well-maintained office environment and assist with club events as needed. Monitor squash facility services and perform or coordinate necessary court maintenance. Guide the Assistant Racquets Coordinator and contribute to the department's social media presence as required. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field required. A degree or certification in Professional Tennis Management or Administration is highly desirable. 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a tennis environment within a private club. Exceptional organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and ability to work under pressure.
