Work Setting:

Maintenance Tasks

1. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
2. Construct foundations for machinery
3. Repair or replace defective machinery parts
4. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
5. Estimate costs and materials
6. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
7. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
8. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
9. Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
10. Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation)
11. Installing machinery and equipment
12. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
