Our client is an innovative technology company specializing in the development of wireless power solutions. The company aims to revolutionize the robotics industry by offering innovative wireless power solutions to improve robot performance and functionality. The Electronic Design Engineer will occupy a key position in the team, with primary responsibility for the development and design of various power systems. He will also participate in the design of safety systems, the development of test protocols/methods, and the creation of customized laboratory equipment for R&D. Provide electrical engineering support as part of a small, dynamic, cross-functional team who owns a large-scale power system; # Review system test results, using Python, Spice simulation, and finite element modeling data analysis to ensure appropriate hardware behavior; # Execute system tests exploring the performance envelope, exposing system weaknesses, and maximizing efficiency and power of our systems; # Analyze power system designs and field failures, and work with other engineers to identify the highest value test opportunities and priorities; # Help in the development of impedance envelop and impedance matching systems; # Help in assessing the safety features required in the systems; # Develop a high understanding of battery designs, management, and implementation. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; 5 to 10 years of experience with power electronics, power systems, or battery systems; Hands-on experience with power electronics design; Exposure testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC); Experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.); Proficiency with Python, Spice simulations; Experience with testing systems and simulations; Experience drafting formal test plans and reports; Strong programming skills in C and C++; Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Full-time, permanent position; Flexible schedule. #
