As a "design-first" company, they produce unique pieces for the home each season including items such as wall art, furniture, lighting and home decor accessories. We are looking for a Manager, Key Retail Accounts who is adaptable and focused for their Surrey location.

We are seeking a Manager, Key Accounts to join their team, a leading furniture wholesaler selling to retail accounts across Canada & the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to their continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key retail accounts, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction

and loyalty.

  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business model, objectives, and unique needs to provide tailored solutions and exceed sales targets.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities, proactively prospecting and expanding the customer base within the retail sector.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, logistics, and customer support, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and present strategic insights and recommendations to retail accounts, guiding them on product selection, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and promotional campaigns, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, leveraging this knowledge to drive sales growth and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Effectively utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to manage and track customer interactions, sales pipelines, and account performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of 3 to 5 years in key account management, specifically within the furniture wholesale with demonstrated success selling to retail accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of the furniture market, including product trends, pricing structures, and key competitors.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and influence buying decisions.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic approach to identifying growth opportunities and resolving challenges.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems and sales-related software.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with retail accounts and attend industry trade shows.
